We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Direct Support Professional in Okemah. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with transportation, including driving individuals to appointments or activities
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Assist with lifting and transferring individuals as needed
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to create and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, childcare, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
