The Laborer position is the first step into your new career with Central Seal Company. Laborers play a key role in ensuring our quality standards are met on all completed projects by performing a variety of specialized assignments while adhering to all safety procedures. Labors will prepare job sites, move materials, provide support to Equipment Operators and/or Team Leads, along with various other assigned duties. This position will require constant training programs to promote advancement of skills and abilities. Laborers can quickly be promoted up to an Equipment Operator, with continued advancement opportunities offered to secure growth within the company.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Must be able to travel, work irregular hours and weekends as needed
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Must have a good attitude and show up for work on time
• Must have good communication skills work ethics

Preferred Qualifications/ Education:

• High School or equivalent
• Have a valid Class A or B CDL
• Have previous experience operating construction equipment
• Considerable knowledge of heavy equipment operating principals
• Ability to drive and operate commercial trucks

Experience:

While previous experience working in the construction field is preferred, it is not required. We will train employees without any experience who demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and work well in a team environment.
