Assignment: 29 hours per week

Paraprofessional will work in grades 1-5 supporting classroom teacher and one-on-one tutoring for Title 1 identified students across all four curricular content areas.

The job is not limited to any or all of the following skills, duties and responsibilities:

• Organization
• The ability to provide positive guidance to students in a manner that communicates dignity and respect.
• The ability to explain curriculum expectations following directive from the teacher.
• The ability to work professionally with staff, students, and other providers.
• Basic understanding of technology
• Dependable attendance

Applicant must have experience with early literacy instruction and attend trainings during the school year. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must provide evidence of being Highly Qualified in accordance with No Child Left Behind.
