General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent Central Outreach in court and handle all aspects of litigation.
• Oversee day-to-day legal affairs including contract negotiations, corporate matters, staff affairs and any duties per owner and founder.
• Assist and/or directly handle any malpractice, employment or any other lawsuits against COWC.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory matters.
• Oversee and/or assist in oversight of outside counsel.
• Remain current on trends in the law, particularly, fraud and abuse, compliance, FSLA, FMLA, regulatory and related matters.
• Ensure COWC is in compliance at all times in regard to FMLA, FSLA, OSHA etc.
• Diligently respond to all legal matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• ST/LT Disability compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of legal experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing a variety of corporate and commercial contracts.
• Working knowledge of healthcare and insurance regulation.
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of litigation process and procedures.
• Knowledge of general operations of corporations, limited liability companies and joint-ventures.
• Ability to work under stress and with short deadlines.
• Travel to all COWC locations in PA and OH required with some overnight stay required.
• Strong communication skills with professionals from all demographics.
