Finance Manager

Job Details:

• Job Location: Central Missouri Countertops – Columbia, MO.
• Position Type: Full Time

Role Purpose: To oversee the following job functions: customer invoicing, collecting payment, depositing funds, maintaining records, establishing new accounts, and implement company credit policies.

Description:

At CMC, our expertise is second to none. For over twenty years, Central Missouri Countertops continues to service residential and commercial kitchen and bath dealers, builders, home centers and designers within a three-hour radius of Columbia, Missouri. At CMC, we pride ourselves on providing beautifully superior results within the surfacing industry.

Accountabilities:

• Maintain and set up customer accounts in QuickBooks
• Work with project managers and sales representatives on customer accounts
• Create and mail invoices / statements on completed projects or phases
• Deposit customer payments electronically daily
• Follow up on delinquent accounts and make collection calls
• Suggest and implement new procedures to streamline the AR process
• Create reports with weekly projections and keep management informed on account status
• Process new credit applications and check references
• Communicate with customers both verbally and in written form

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree or equivalent amount of education and experience
• Applied knowledge in accounting and business management systems
• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
• Microsoft Office Suites

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. At times, employees are required to provide or verify job details to production staff within the shop environment.
