Position Summary:
The ED RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family and will communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment.
Required Education:
Associate degree is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
Required Certification:
BLS required
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
Other: 1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferredEEOC Statement:
