Find your purpose working as a Registered Nurse in Surgery at our Long Prairie Hospital! 
As a Registered Nurse in Surgery, you will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established nursing practice standards. You will lead the nursing team to ensure effective and efficient patient care and desired patient outcomes are achieved by working in collaboration with other professionals.

Position Details: 

• Part-time position working 40 hours every two weeks 
• Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Every 4th weekend on call 
• Rotating holidays 
• Rotating weekday call

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - associate degree or higher 
• Current Minnesota RN license 
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on call situations

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position and has not worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. 

To be eligible for the relocation bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hire into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position and has not worked for Centracare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Long Prairie Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it within 120 days.
