Job Summary

• This position at the Lakeland Clinic includes providing efficient, quality support to the physicians/mid-level providers.
• Provide safe, competent care while enhancing the care to all ages of patients in Family Practice areas.
• Facilitates patient flow. 
• Provides direct care to patients under the direction of provider within scope of practice including chronic disease management. 
• Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. Supports provider practice by utilizing the nursing process and R.N. skills. 
• Provides management of pharmacy refill program for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff. 
• Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills. 
• Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.
