CentraCare is Hiring a LPN | Med/Surg | Long Prairie Hospital Near Long Prairie, MN

Long Prairie Hospital is looking for a dedicated LPN to join the team!

As an LPN, you will assume responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in assigned areas including medical/surgical, OB and ER according to established standards and practices. As an LPN, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, obtaining vitals and medical histories, answering phones and patient education.

To be successful in this position, you will need to work well both independently and with others, have the desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients, and their families. You should have the ability to assess, problem solve and handle tasks as they arise.

Position Details:

  • Part-time working 48 hours every two weeks
  • 12-hour rotating days and nights 
  • Every third weekend and rotating holidays

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota 
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare in the past 9 months and is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.

To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Long Prairie Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment. 

CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
