Come and find your purpose as a Clinical Assistant at our Willmar - Rice Memorial location! You will work with our Dental team to assist in making our patients' experience a safe and enjoyable one. This is a full-time position working during our Clinic hours Monday-Thursday between 8am and 4:30pm, and on Fridays from 8am to 1pm.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide sterile processing of dental instruments, decontamination and set-up of dental treatment rooms. Provides assistance to dental students, dental therapy students, faculty and/or licensed dental staff in services rendered to patients. This is hopefully a springboard position for someone seeking to learn the dental practice with future aspirations of moving into a Licensed Dental Assistant role.
EDUCATION:

• Diploma High School graduate.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred or
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Preferred and
• CPR certification. Upon Hire Required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dental coursework preferred.
• Experience in a dental office or medical facility preferred.
• Medical and dental terminology knowledge. (Will train)
• Infection control practices and OSHA regulations. (Will train)
• Ability to learn new skills and work as a team. (Will train)
