CentraCare seeks a strategic, visionary human resources executive to serve as the health system's next Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement enterprise-wide people strategies in an innovative, rapidly growing health system committed to providing the highest quality, safest care to its community and developing the next generation of rural providers through a new, innovative partnership.
Reporting directly to the President and CEO of CentraCare, Kenneth Holmen, MD, the CHRO will have oversight of the health system's people strategy, ensuring strategically and operationally progressive approaches are identified that further advance a variety of workforce goals, including workforce planning and development, recruitment and retention, engagement, total rewards, and employee and labor relations. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CHRO must build trust and credibility with senior leaders and serve as a key strategic advisor as it relates to people and organizational strategy. This executive will be a transformational change leader, able to develop innovative solutions related to addressing workforce challenges, improving employee and physician engagement, eliminating silos, and further integrating technology platforms to provide greater insights and data across the health system. The CHRO will strengthen human resources operations, ensuring alignment across the health system's operations and long-term organizational strategy. This executive will be a purpose-driven leader able to advance CentraCare's HR function to one viewed across the enterprise as a strategic, collaborative business advisor. The CHRO will be an inclusive leader, able to amplify joy within the department and further advance the strong sense of culture and pride within the HR department.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success as a human resources executive in a complex, highly matrixed organization. They will be an innovative and results-oriented HR leader. The candidate will have a minimum of ten years of human resources experience, a significant portion of which should have been in a leadership role for the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies and improving organizational results. Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required for this opportunity.
