CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leading contractor in commercial and industrial roofing, has an immediate full-time opening for a Safety Specialist in our DataCon Group, based out of Phoenix, AZ (preferable, not mandatory). Relocation Assistance will be provided for the right candidate! This position is open to varying levels of experience and offers career growth based on performance.Job Summary: Frequent travel (50% overnight) to various job and office locations throughout the assigned region to conduct:
- Job-site safety inspections
- Assist Operations Director in managing local onsite Safety Representatives, and paperwork from General Contractors and our Sales Representatives
- Train future onsite Safety Specialists to handle the daily onsite safety needed to run new construction projects
- Claim investigations
- Candidate MUST have ONE of the following: CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), or CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) - Required
- Bachelor Degree in Safety or 3-5 years Safety experience - Required
- Strong investigative and communication skills
- Superb problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations
