Centerway Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is Hiring a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Near Goose Creek, SC

Job Description

Opening for an administration staff member for our clinic (actually 3 openings, we are rapidly expanding). We are looking for someone who has reliable transportation, able to learn quickly, and well spoken.

We have a somewhat unique perspective... we actually prefer anyone who has hospitality experience (like... waiter/waitress, hotel service, etc). We are always polite. Patients often are going through rough times, we need staff that can always be polite no matter what (though most patients easy to work with). We have excellent employee retention, so we can spend the time necessary to train someone with no experience.

By google reviews (although admittedly, it is only an indirect measure), we are the highest rated psychiatry clinic in South Carolina, if counting number of reviews, score, and especially content! Please look us up!

Opportunities for significant advancement in this position are available (if you have a college degree please apply, but it is not necessary for promotion.) Promotion is based on how well you can lead by listening to the needs of our staff.

Background

One of our core principles is treating our employees right, and we know how to do so. We want to make sure they are with us for the long-term.

The initial job responsibilities include:

Ensuring the patient experience is enjoyable and easy!! (Patient care is everything!!)

Other duties: Patient check in and check out during clinic, handling incoming and outgoing patient calls, collecting patient balances at check-out, and various other clinic duties. If you are good at auditing balances and budgets, please also apply.

The ideal initial candidate will have
Hospitality Experience (e.g. Restaurant, Hotel, etc.) or Medical Office Experience, and at least a High School Diploma.

Job Type: Part-time (if available long term), and Full Time
Pay: $10.00 -$12.00 (at entry level) (but lots of bonuses we don't advertise, because they are not meant to be a payroll).

We have learned to work from home well and set up our employees there if they have a strong preference. Initially the training will be in office. The office is very spacious, with new office furniture, and custom artwork. There is no direct patient contact unless vaccinated. Also, working for us prioritizes anyone who wants a vaccine because you qualify as healthcare worker. That said, vaccination for Covid-19 is not mandatory for employment.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
