Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Act as patient advocate.
• Provide continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy objectives and goals of the facility.
• Responsible for assessing the needs of individual patients.
• Develop an effective plan of care according to Center standards as evidenced by documentation
• Accurately reflects implantation of nursing care plan through documentation
• Implement patient/family education specific to the patient’s assessed needs, abilities, and readiness as evidenced by observation and/or documentation
• Consistently evaluates the effectiveness of nursing intervention in accomplishing goals and intended patient care outcomes as evidenced by documentation
• Consistently revised the patient’s plan of care based on reassessment.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of electronic medical records
• Good typing skills
• Good internet navigation skills
• Ability to multi-task while maintain accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with established time constraints

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Degrees, years in profession):

• Degree from accredited nursing program Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN License, ACLS certificate, BLS certificate, CPR certificate
• Previous Surgical, Critical Care, or Same Day Surgery experience strongly preferred
