MAKE A DIFFERENCE IMPROVING ADMISSION PERFORMANCE WITH A GROWING INNOVATOR IN MENTAL HEALTH!
If you have mental health admissions experience and are a business-minded people leader with sales skills, this position offers you some compelling opportunities.
As the Director of Admissions, you will oversee a team of 10 to 12 Admissions Coordinators and Call Screeners who engage with incoming and potential clients, answering all their questions throughout the admissions process. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the client and the facility they will be admitted to, ensuring the client is well-versed in the rules of the program and treatment expectations. Pivotal to your success will be a focus on metrics and the ability to motivate your team to strong performance.

This is a full-time, Mon - Fri, on-site position with a pay range of $110K to $150K, depending upon the experience you bring.
More specifically, you will:
  • Lead your team, including hiring and developing team competencies; fostering the highest level of employee engagement; and strategizing with organizational leaders to provide support to treatment center leadership in the pursuit of the attainment of organizational goals.
  • Direct the admissions department for in-patient and outpatient services.
  • Audit clients' personal information from a caller for financial obligations, medical/mental health necessities, legal obligations, family/social support, and employment/employer information is accurate in EHR System.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain revenue-generating strategies related to admissions and patient capacity.
  • Serve as a role model and uphold the company mission, values, and business objectives by demonstrating professionalism and maturity in work behavior, ethical conduct, sound judgment, and personal integrity.
  • Establish KPIs, goals, and regular reporting of results and progress; use relevant data to monitor and improve client care outcomes; and demonstrate basic competency in business intelligence and technology applications. 
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is highly preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of 
  • 5 years of experience in an admissions function within the mental health industry is required
  • Proven people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable to expectations.
  • The ability to learn, understand and communicate diverse behavioral health treatments and services.
  • Experience with sales, including conversion tactics, matching clients with solutions, explaining benefits, overcoming objections, etc.
  • Experience with managing KPIs and other metrics to drive high performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise professional judgment in performing day-to-day activities.
  • Demonstrates a genuine desire to work with the population served, in support of the company’s mission.
