Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will be essential in building strong relationships with potential tenants and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and showcase the features and amenities of available units
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants regarding rental properties, lease terms, and application process
- Collect and review rental applications, verify applicant information, and conduct background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and documenting any damages or repairs needed
- Address tenant concerns or maintenance requests promptly and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, including rental payments, vacancies, and lease renewals
- Stay up-to-date with local rental market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer relationship management or real estate administrative roles preferred
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or CMMS is a plus
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to leasing, including Section 8 and LIHTC programs
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and rental rates with potential tenants
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
