Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) / Rainbow Center is a private, not-for-profit corporation founded in 1972. CDD provides residential care services, day habilitation to adults with developmental disabilities and private separate school for children ages 3-21 with communicative and developmental disabilities, in the greater Kansas City, MO area.

JOB DUTIES
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION: Minimum education of high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE: None required.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED:
This position requires a working knowledge of a Hoyer lift and wheelchair. This position also requires the ability to receive and maintain certifications in Abuse & Neglect, First Aid/CPR, Mandt and Gentle Teaching.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in a school and day habilitation &/or school setting for Individuals/students and persons served with developmental disabilities. Must meet the minimum physical requirements (ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs., sit, squat, kneel, reach and get up and down from the floor repeatedly) of the job as described on the application and on the pre-employment physical form.
SCHEDULE:
School Program: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm Monday-Friday
