Position Overview: The Communications and Marketing Intern is a three-month summer internship supporting both the Communications and Marketing department. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting our five summer camp media teams, assisting in production of digital media, and monitoring and troubleshooting parent communications and photo delivery.

Key Duties:

1. Content Creation and Management

• Capture the stories of T Bar M through high-quality photo and video content and editing
• Manage and enhance the visual identity of T Bar M across digital platforms
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for content creation
• Stay updated on design trends and implement innovative visual solutions

2. Lead and Manage the Summer Camp Media Teams

• Lead a creative team of college-aged photographers and videographers, guiding them in capturing the essence of T Bar M's summer camps and retreats
• Organize and assist in training sessions for the media team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality content
• Serve as a mentor and point of contact for the team, offering guidance and support for any questions or challenges
• Work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to integrate the media teams’ content creation and visual storytelling into our overall marketing and communications strategy

Education/Experiences:

- Study in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

- Expertise in Office products, primarily Microsoft Excel and Word

- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and with DLSR camera equipment is preferred

Compensation: Compensation for this role will be competitive with our other summer staff roles. This is a paid internship.
