Title: Inventory & Receiving Lead

Reports To: Inventory Manager & Director of Warehouse Operations

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Shift: 7:00 a.m. –3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, with extra hours till 5 p.m. with approval from management. There's a 30-minute lunch break at 12 noon and two 15-minute breaks at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

Wage: Starting at $18 - Temp to permanent only with good performance & attendance after 90 days.

We seek an experienced inventory leader who is detail-oriented and conscientious about maintaining our inventory, handling shipping, receiving, researching, ordering parts for projects, and processing the necessary paperwork for inventory. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new systems, managing a small team of 2 additional employees, and working to find more efficient and effective ways of accomplishing tasks.

This position includes light manual labor in receiving packages and stocking our internal warehouse. We provide training on all relevant systems and look forward to helping the right candidate reach their full potential and make an impact in our company and for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Perform all warehouse duties, such as picking, case handling, loading and unloading trailers, providing production with necessary materials, and managing inventory.
• The receiving lead handles all products received inside the warehouse and ensures the products are sorted, stocked, or cross-docked accurately and efficiently.
• Unpack and record incoming stock shipments, pack outbound shipments, put stock away, and track stock movement.
• Handle paperwork for warehouse and inventory functions.
• Perform QA/QC on shipments before receiving.
• Ensure Cenmed's inventory records are received accurately and maintain proper documentation of inventory movements in the WMS/ERP.
• Reports all discrepancies to warehouse leadership promptly.
• Receives all shipments within 24 hours of arrival.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with 6S standards.
• Practices Total Quality Management in that any direct or indirect activity/knowledge that would adversely impact our products' quality, cost, or schedule performance must be dealt with conclusively and timely.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safe task performance, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job.

What You'll Bring to The Table

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience in a leadership role.
• Understanding of warehousing and inventory management processes.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents.
• Excellent number skills and analytical mindset. 
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
