**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sandblasting techniques and surface preparation. This role involves preparing various surfaces for painting, coating, or cleaning by using abrasive materials such as sand, glass beads, or steel grit.

**Responsibilities:**

- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces of structures or equipment

- Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by removing old finishes, rust, dirt, or grease

- Follow safety procedures to protect self and others from hazardous materials and fumes

- Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure smoothness and cleanliness

- Maintain and clean equipment after each use

**Skills:**

- Knowledge of sandblasting

- Knowledge of sandblasting equipment and equipment maintenance

- Ability to interpret schematics for proper surface preparation

Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
