Cenikor is a non-profit organization and one of the largest substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. We are currently seeking a Facility Director for our facility in Austin, TX.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility Director manages day-to-day operations at the facility level, assisting the Senior Regional Director in providing leadership, direction, and administration of facility operations. Ensures strategic and operational goals and objectives are established and attained in the context of quality and cost effective service to clients.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensure regulatory compliance with federal and state standards as well as Cenikor policies and procedures.
2. Manage staff and facility resources to ensure completion of strategic plan and goals.
3. Prepare and present facility reports for the Senior Regional Director.
4. Develop and manage local Advisory Board and quarterly meetings.
5. Cultivate relationships with new and existing supporters of Cenikor through scheduled meetings and events.
6. Assist and participate in fundraising activities, including facility tours, public speaking engagements, special events and donor recognition activities.
7. Assist the Senior Regional Director in setting annual staff goals, managed and reported to the Corporate Office on a monthly basis.
8. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and create a positive working environment for all team members. Work with the management team to ensure they uphold for all team members.
9. Monitor program progress to ensure compliance with the strategic plan and suggests new policies and procedures to the Senior Regional Director as needed.
10. Gather information on activities for the monthly facility report and submit report by the 5th business day of each month.
11. Work cooperatively with the CFO, Finance and Accounting and Business Manager to establish the annual budget for the facility each year. Submit the annual budget to the CFO, Senior Regional Director and the CEO for approval as scheduled. Approve expenditures within signing authority.
12. Ensure that facility QA committee meets monthly and email meeting minutes to the corporate office by the 15th of each month.
13. Communicate critical administration and operational problems or concerns to the Senior Regional Director within 12 hours.
14. Communicate concerns regarding capital expenditures, budgetary or financial matters, etc. within 12 hours to the Senior Regional Director and CFO.
15. Ensure that the client satisfaction survey is completed the 3rd month of each quarter and submitted to the corporate office by the end of the month.
16. Participate in weekly phone or in-person meetings with the Senior Regional Director.
17. Work with the Human Resource Department for staffing, training, employee relations issues, performance evaluations and maintenance of personnel files, documentation and licensure requirements for facility staff.
18. Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool for direct reports by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
19. Ensure that all employee disciplinary actions and complaints are documented in compliance with foundation policies and procedures, with the knowledge and assistance of the Human Resource Department and Senior Regional Director and following local, state and federal and laws.
20. Report all client injuries to the CFO, Finance and Accounting within 24 hours and report all staff injuries to the Senior Regional Director and Human Resource Department within 24 hours.
21. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to your supervisor.
22. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job description.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.

Experience:

• Two (2) years facility administrator experience required.
• Five (5) years experience working in substance abuse treatment services preferred.

Licensure Required:

• Valid Drivers License required
• Clinical licensure preferred
