Cenetric, Inc. is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Olathe, KS

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing system, sending invoices, ensuring timely payment of debts, and maintaining records of financial transactions. This role is pivotal in keeping our financial operations running smoothly and requires someone with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for details.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Generate and send out invoices, ensure that invoices are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Account Reconciliation: Monitor incoming payments and reconcile invoices with the payments received, update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
  • Debt Collection: Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments, initiate collection efforts if necessary, and negotiate payment plans for outstanding debts.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Customer Service: Handle and resolve billing or payment discrepancies in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing: Entering and processing customer orders
  • Other Financial Tasks: Assist with other accounting projects in the office as needed, which may include working with Accountant or CFO to generate reports, research cost saving measures, perform data entry or other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
  • Familiar with accounting software and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and good with numbers.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma; further education or certification in Business Administration, Accounting, or relevant field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.01 - $20.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
