This is a temporary position. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Production Accounting Clerk. As a Production Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing support to the accounting department. Duties:
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records using various software systems, including Microsoft Excell
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct credit analysis and assess the creditworthiness of customers
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Proficient in 10-key typing
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Ability to use Kronos or similar timekeeping software
- Previous experience in financial services is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve effectively
