Celestar Corporation, a company which proudly provides 100% of employee health care premiums, is seeking a IT Specialist (Applications Developer) for the Information Technology Division of the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). NTIA manages the Federal use of spectrum and performs cutting-edge telecommunications research and engineering maintenance and oversight for DoC Headquarters. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or some other technical degree. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications; leading team of developers
Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and help/user guides.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or technical discipline is required w/related MS certifications
Three (3) years of relevant experience required in the following: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Flow and PowerBI
Develop business solutions using Office 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Flow (Power Automate), PowerApps, and PowerBI.
Design and develop user interfaces to web applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle
Gather and coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities.
Contribute to team meetings.
Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Develop technical documentation and user documentation.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.
