Description

Campus Coordinator

Campus: Georgetown (GT)

Reports To: Associate Campus Pastor (ACP)

Summary of Role

Coordinate and lead GT Campus concourse experience for services, conferences, and events. Build and maintain Dream Teams to create excellent environments and guest experiences.

Position Status & Schedule

  • Non-exempt, Hourly
  • Full-time (40 hours)
  • Sunday through Thursday: may include weekends and evenings
  • Christmas, Easter, Dream Team Appreciation, and Major Conference service dates and times are blackout days for time off. Other events may be required outside of your regular schedule; we will inform you in advance of these requirements.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Responsible for the overall health of campus Dream Teams
  • Recruit, develop and lead Guest Experience Dream Teams
  • Resource church department leads with information related DT standards, policy and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus-wide Dream Team members
  • Assist campuses with standards, policies and procedures related to GE DT as needed

Services

  • Execute the weekend experience off the platform with an awareness of what is happening on the platform
  • Foster and champion an environment that reflects our core values to church attendees
  • Identify and resolve potential issues arising in the concourse or affecting the church attendee/guest experience
  • Seek out guests and facilitate an exceptional experience for them, includes connecting First Time Guests
  • Ensure assigned Dream Teams are well staffed and have clear direction
  • Collaborate with Campus Team to plan and host on-site elements taking place outside of the platform (i.e. sermon series or seasonal elements happening off-stage at the campus)

Coordination

  • Actively monitor and evaluate current systems and processes and create efficient campus processes
  • Manage people workflows to ensure attendees and Dream Team are connected with team leads, information, next steps, etc.
  • Maintain inventories and order needed supplies for campus and service operations
  • Oversee database information and rosters are maintained and accurate for assigned Dream Teams
  • Assist Dream Team leads in ensuring adequate DT coverage for weekend service and campus events
  • Communicate weekly with the campus team about needs for weekend services or events
  • Keep a running list of needs, upgrades, and goals for things that impact GE
  • Communicate campus specific needs to Associate Campus Pastor

Conference & Events

  • Collaborate with Events Coordinator for logistics of campus-specific conferences and events. Will be responsible for execution of logistics at the campus level
  • Assist with the planning, implementation, facilitation, and execution leading up to and on day of event
  • Prepare and distribute Dream Team function sheets to ensure teams are prepared with details and information of serve expectations at the conference/event
  • Lead other Campus Coordinators for GT campus-specific conferences & events (as applicable)
  • Assist with facility set-up and tear-down

Financial

  • Utilize purchasing processes for approval, ordering, and payment of services and items needed at campus
  • Assist with annual and monthly budget updates, ensuring resources are being stewarded wisely in your area(s) of responsibility
  • Enter expenses into applicable systems and maintain up-to-date expense reports

  • Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience
  • Minimum 1 year serving or leading Dream Team at Celebration Church or other church environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office and Church facility.
  • Must be able to position self to maintain supplies and equipment on lower shelves and in closets.
  • Often move supplies and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Constantly work in an open office environment
  • Ability to work outside in various climates and temperatures
