• 5 years in data warehousing, preferably within a data platform
• 5 years in ETL with semi-structured and unstructured data sets
• 7 years of experience with several programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience with Spark streaming and SQL
• Coding skills in the procedural language for at least one database engine a must (PL/SQL, T-SQL etc.) 
• Experience in micro-service architecture/design
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD), and/or Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus
• Experience with DAG workflow scheduler systems
• Ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly
• Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Dynamo DB, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
• Experience in data warehousing with Hive and a scalable store such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Working with one or more streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm, or AWS Kinesis
• experienced in various Clustering and Sharding architectures
• Excellent SQL and DB performance tuning skills.
• Experience in Kubernetes will be a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
• Strong understanding distributed system principles of load balancing, scaling, in-memory vs. disk
• Ability to work efficiently with source code management systems like GIT and SVN
• Familiar with DevOps - automated deployment tools

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
• Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp
• Four-year college degree and 8 or more years, and/or a high school diploma with 10 or more years professional experience in full life cycle design and development to include IT architecture, banking industry experience, and understanding client requirements
