Cedar Haven Healthcare Center of Lebanon, PA is seeking to hire a full-time or part-time Afternoon/Evening Dietary Aide (12-8pm) to assist our dietary services department in the preparation and service of meals for our residents. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DIETARY AIDE
As a dietary aide, you will assist the cooks with some food preparation duties such as peeling vegetables and fruits, preparing Jello and fruit salads, and mixing juices. Next, you will work as a team to portion out beverages and menu items into individual servings for service to residents. Part of your role at times will involve acting as a host or hostess and waitstaff in our dining room while providing high-quality service for the residents. Smiling at our residents and caring for their needs and requests brings you great fulfillment. You will also help maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, keep important items in stock, and assist your manager as requested. Overall, you enjoy staying flexible and meeting needs as they arise in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
WORK SCHEDULE
Our full-time afternoon/evening Dietary Aide is scheduled from 12pm to 8pm, 4 or 5 days a week, including every other weekend and every other holiday.
