Description includes:

• Incorporate safety and environmental responsibility into daily action.
• Utilize and improve the Management System for effective and efficient fulfillment of requirements from customers, regulators and values, policies, objectives and targets.
• Incorporate positive interpersonal skills when communicating or interacting with customer, subcontractor, vendor, craft and personnel.
• Employ organizational skills that effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact the project. When obstacles arise, employ sound decision- making / problem-solving skills to resolve the issue.
• Manage all phases of the project, including safety, quality, cost and productivity, using a proactive management style.
• Assist the Planner with development of the project construction plan. Recommend plan, schedule or job sequencing revisions where appropriate.
• Review additional work, which is outside the original project scope of work, with the Planner for scheduling and cost tracking.
• Assist the Planner, as needed, in developing mobile equipment, welding machines, rigging, safety equipment and other specialized tooling needs for the project.
• Develop complete tool / equipment inventory for execution of planned work plus additional inventory for anticipated scope growth.
• Plan, organize and staff key field positions through the Site Manager and Site Manager.
• Ensure that all area personnel are qualified and properly trained in applicable work and safety procedures.
• Maintain liaison with other departments (i.e. Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Previous petrochemical/refining industry experience a must.
• 5 years experience managing multiple capital project QA/QC Programs with 7 years industry experience.
• TWIC Card required.
• Previous experience working at small project sites.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Experience working directly with clients.
