We encourage personal growth and offer career advancement to individuals who demonstrate initiative.Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of General Labor positions are split between the insulating and crating processes during the final assembly of CDI's product. Each task must be completed with safety, accuracy & timeliness in the insulating & crating area. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately measure the interior dimensions the finished shell of the product Install insulation material, lifting lugs, foil tape, & applicable labels to CDI's specificationsOperate glue guns, drill, sprayer, and pinspotter to complete assigned tasks.Review and clean welds and apply cold galvanizing spray paint to CDI's specifications.Track and log work via computer/tablet and send the product to the next step.Accurately measure finished product to determine critical dimensions & weights. Through use of various power tools cut lumber to correct measurements for cratingConstruction shipping crate through use of pneumatic nail guns and various power toolsPrepare units for shipping.Load completed product on trucks in line with the carrier, DOT and CDI's requirements.Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedules.Other duties as assigned.Starting Compensation:$17.50 - $18.50 an hour to start with performance increases every 6 months!Full-Time Work Schedule (You choose which works best for you!):Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm or Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00pmCDI employees (Full-Time) are offered the following benefits:401(k) with matchHealth & Dental insuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability InsurancePaid Holidays and VacationLife Supplemental ProgramProfit Sharing Opportunities Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.must be at least 18 years old.Basic understanding of blueprints and designs.Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong time management skills.Ability to safely use various measuring tools & various other hand, power, & pneumatic tools.
