Apply Description Principal Duties and Responsibilities : Safe operation of laser, press brake / turret machine and various other tools used to complete project Create quality and accurate cuts / bends / folds according to blueprints.
Inspect work for accuracy. Follow and enforce all CDI safety rules and regulationsEnsure equipment is properly set-up & used in a safe manner & that all safety devices are in use.
Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required.Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repair as required.
Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedulesOther duties as assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities : Must be willing to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
Required to have proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system. Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
