CDF Distributors in Gallatin, TN is a leader in the commercial door, frame, and hardware industry! We are changing the way people buy doors! We are a fast-growing family owned company, searching for an experienced production associate to join our team - a hardworking professional who is dedicated, focused, and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. This candidate will perform multiple tasks and work within a team environment. Candidates need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to make the team successful.

Our company offers a competitive salary, paid time off and excellent benefits (including free medical insurance for employee). Shifts are Monday - Friday, daytime only. Approximate schedule: 6 am to 2:30 pm. Some overtime may be required. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures.

· Read, understand, and follow production schedules.

· Gather materials and move them to work stations as needed according to the production schedule and sales order.

· Communicate effectively with shop leads for flow of product through the plant.

· Maintain production information and documentation as appropriate.

· Perform housekeeping duties such as 5S.

· Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned such as being flexible to cross train and be used in multiple areas and departments.

· Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent Attendance

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Basic math and measurement skills

· Ability to accurately read a tape measure

· Ability to use power tools and hand tools

· Ability to operate a forklift

· Display an attitude of continuous improvement and problem-solving

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able stand the entire shift

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs
