The Director of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) will lead the resource mobilization efforts for the CDC Foundation’s public-private partnership portfolio, driving business development strategy across this body of work plus an assigned portfolio of prospects, and managing the team of PPP fundraisers. S/he will be responsible for leading a team in the development of fundraising strategies for a variety of public health projects, working closely with CDC colleagues, external public health partners, and CDC Foundation leadership to identify project ideas for philanthropic and private sector support and engagement (primarily with corporations, foundations and other organizations); identifying, cultivating and soliciting six- and seven-figure gifts in support of various projects; facilitating cross-sector dialogue with the aim of building public-private partnerships; developing compelling proposals, budgets and fundraising collateral for prospective donors; and negotiating the terms of collaboration with funders. The position may lead on large-scale, complex projects with multiple revenue streams and/or implementing partners in close collaboration with CDC Foundation Programs leadership.

The Director of Public-Private Partnerships will report to the Vice President for Advancement and serve as a member of the Advancement leadership team. S/he will lead and grow the PPP team, ensuring seamless coordination between the team and other CDC Foundation departments, as well as with CDC colleagues.
