- Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6-9 years of Controls Engineer
- 4 years of PLC and HMI design and programming for industrial equipment for machine control, design and development of electrical and software systems.
- Experience using SCADA is a must
- Using control descriptions, I/O lists, electrical schematics, and drawings, creating PLC/HMI code for control of various electro-mechanical systems.
- Assist Field Commissioning and Service Technicians with start-up and troubleshooting of applied programming.
- Work with engineering team to develop electrical, instrumentation and controls products and systems to satisfy unique customer specifications, contracts, and new business development.
- Create/review/modify electrical schematics, drawings, and I/O lists for various electro-mechanical systems to ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
- Support design and manufacturing of machine control systems.
- Submit timely status reports to management on progress of assigned projects.
- Develop UL and other related technical documentation for review and submittal to customers.
