This role will be working for an Oil and Gas company and be responsible for the following:

• Apply GIS software to generate precise polygons that depict the company's agreement categories, including leases and contracts, and other spatial entities, employing Quorum GIS tools and ArcGIS Pro.
• Perform thorough quality assessments on polygonal data to verify precision, uniformity, and adherence to predefined standards and criteria.
• Utilize Quorum GIS search functionalities proficiently to identify agreements necessitating evaluation by the mapping team for spatial modifications, and rectify them as required.
• Adjust and enhance polygon boundaries and attributes as dictated by project specifications, input from stakeholders, and modifications in the foundational data within Quorum Land System.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a spatial data mapping position.
• Proven track record in generating spatial data using legal descriptions like quarter calls and metes and bounds, applicable to both Jeffersonian and non-Jeffersonian regions.
• Profound comprehension of spatial data principles, encompassing coordinate systems and projections.
• Exceptional focus on detail with a capability to uphold accuracy and exactness in polygon mapping and editing assignments.

Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
