A client in downtown Houston is seeking a GIS Analyst
MUST LIVE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS
This will be a 12-month contract with a possibility to go permanent.
MUST HAVES:
Programming Language: MS SQL, C# (MS . NET)
Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mapping languages
Reporting Technologies: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
TOOLS: GeoServer, Korweb
Degree in Computer Science, Geography, Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
Proficiency with front-end design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various mapping languages.
Experience with mapping tools such as GeoServer.
Experience with ticket management tools such as Korweb.
Experience with GPS measuring tools.
At minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
NICE TO HAVE:
TOOLS: ESRI ArcGIS tools, GPS measuring tools
Programming Language: Python
