CCI is Hiring a Director of Organizational Systems (Part-Time) Near Denver, CO

The Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) has been the leader in perioperative certification for more than 40 years, certifying over 40,000 nurses internationally. An industry leader in nursing competency assessment, CCI is the credentialing body for the Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM), Certified Perioperative CNS (CNS-CP), Certified Ambulatory Surgery Nurse (CNAMB), Certified Foundational Perioperative Nurse (CFPN), and Nursing Professional Development Advanced – Board Certified (NPDA-BC) credentials.

Job Summary:

The Director of Organizational Systems will lead efforts to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of credentialing processes and accreditation standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance programs, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining accreditation compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for credentialing processes across all departments of the organization.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of process and procedure documentation.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to assess compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build business requirement documents that address quality issues with the backend of technology systems/certification technology platform.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Liaise with software development and customization vendors and other stakeholders to represent organizational interests.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance credentialing processes.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to CEO.
  • Ensure that all systems are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement.
  • Manage and oversee compliance and IT teams.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of credentialing principles and standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, systems development and management, or other relevant field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or related roles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing staff.
  • Certification in quality management preferred.
  • Experience working at certification or licensure organizations preferred.
