Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

We are looking for a Peer Support Specialist for our facility in Tucson .

A Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Transition Point Peer Support Specialist (PSS) is responsible for the engagement of patients/participants at the Transition Point Facility. The Transition Point PSS will meet with each patient/participant individually to assist in the co-development of a continuing care plan of services to be delivered while at Transition Point as well as a discharge plan that will support his or her goals of sustainable recovery. The Transition Point PSS will work with community-based providers to assist patients/participants who identify the need for safe, stable and sober living environments. Also provides assistance and supervision of the self-administration of medication.

Peer Support Specialist is an individual who is in recovery from substance use for an appropriate period of time (greater than or equal to 12 months)

Skills/ Requirements

• Has a Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Six weeks of behavioral health work experience or receives six weeks of continuous onsite direction from a behavioral health professional, a behavioral health technician, or a behavioral health paraprofessional who has at least six months of behavioral health work experience.
• Peer Support Specialist is an individual who is in recovery from substance use for an appropriate period of time (greater than or equal to 12 months
• Must have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Must Be 21 years of age.
• Must have a level one fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain immediately.
