Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to assist our recruiters in all aspects of the candidate selection process. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the recruitment field while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist recruiters with all documentation related to candidate sourcing, screening, and placement.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone or email to assess qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and recruiters.
- Update and maintain candidate databases and records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with job postings on various platforms and social media channels to attract qualified candidates.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including managing calendars, organizing meetings, and preparing presentation materials.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the recruitment department.
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the recruitment team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a recruitment or HR environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate
- Ability to work evenings at any given time.
