Cazador Consulting Group is Hiring an AP/AR Manager Near Bakersfield, CA

Cazador Consulting Group is currently seeking an experienced AR/AP Manager who can work independently, is a self-starter, can develop policies and procedures, and can work in a fast-paced work environment. The AR/AP Manager must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.

Essential Job Functions

  • Training, motivating, and evaluating accounts payable staff members.
  • Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify and reconcile discrepancies in invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
  • Optain proper approval for invoices prior to payment.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Generate reports as needed for management.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders.
  • Implementing effective systems and processes

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • 2 years of accounting experience.

Working Conditions

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
