Overview

The US Army Communications- Electronics Command (CECOM) CIO/G6 is responsible for supporting the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and equipment requirements for approximately 9000 Soldiers, Civilians, and Contractors worldwide. The infrastructure and equipment CIO/G6 provides is a key support enabling CECOM personnel to execute the command’s mission: CECOM delivers integrated C5ISR weapon systems, business systems, and medical sustainment to enable full spectrum combat operations at the point of need.

Responsibilities

Desktop Service support shall be provided on NIPR and SIPR networks, or in standalone, non-networked operating environment. All Desktop Technician personnel shall acquire and maintain NIPR elevated privilege tenant desktop administrator accounts for NIPR desktop service support performance.

Qualifications

· Must possess Secret Clearance (or have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance)

· 3 or more years of related experience

· DoD 8140.01 Baseline Certification

· Security or equivalent as specified in the DoD 8140.01

· DoD 8140.01 Computing Environment Certified

· MCDST: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or equivalent as specified in DoD 8140.01

Compensation: Starting at $55,000

Compensation amount is dependent on candidate skills and experience
