About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead its Resources and Engagement Department, with a primary focus on building a strong community of support for the organization's mission. The CDO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working in collaboration with the President and CEO and other officers to secure the necessary resources and execute plans that align with the organization's goals, including a significant fundraising campaign for its centennial celebration. The CDO will also oversee a team of professionals, provide strategic leadership, and ensure that the department's operations are in line with the organization's mission and values. A strong emphasis is placed on the candidate's ability to build and maintain relationships, communicate effectively, and demonstrate leadership in driving the organization's philanthropic efforts. The role demands an innovative fundraiser with a proven track record, capable of guiding the organization in modernizing its systems and processes to meet the goals of the Live United 2025 strategic plan.
