Position Overview:
The Stroke Program Manager plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Stroke Program, ensuring the provision of high-quality services for patients experiencing stroke across the continuum of care. This position requires collaboration with the Stroke Program Medical Director to ensure program success across Cayuga Health System.
The Stroke Program Manager is an expert nurse who provides leadership for the organization in services and systems necessary for a collaborative approach to stroke care.
The Stroke Program Manager plans, implements, and evaluates clinical programs to achieve high quality, patient-focused outcomes that advance patient and family care and nursing practice in stroke. The Stroke Program Manager is responsible for the development, quality assessment, performance improvement, and inter/intra disciplinary communications within the program.
The Stroke Program Manager will work collaboratively with all hospital and clinic personnel on shared system and performance improvement projects, while partnering with Strategic leadership to identify opportunities for the expansion of the program.
