Due to continued growth and strong product demand, Causeway Marine is looking to hire an Experienced Boat Sales Consultant to join our family of award-winning boat dealerships. We are seeking motivated sales professionals to maintain our great reputation and exceed our client’s high expectations for exemplary service. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, excellent communication and computer skills, a dedication to customer experience excellence and be an organized multitasker. This position will interact with and correspond directly with our many return clients as well as communicate daily with other office staff, our Service Department and management.

Qualifications

• Maintain a working knowledge of the sales market and always continue to educate yourself on new models and innovation for products we sell.
• Proficient with Microsoft products/willingness and ability to learn new software and effectively utilize the internet and social media sites.
• Ability to follow specific policies and procedures for lead management, sales, and closings.
• A general curiosity about how things work and the passion to continually learn about the latest offerings from our product partners.
• Present a professional image.
• Must be a talented, dedicated, and energetic individual experienced in a retail operation of consultative sales.
• Must be smart, coach-able, trainable, and willing to work our proven system.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on all leads presented (via walk-ins, phone, events, and email) in a professional fashion daily using our CRM database tools.
• Understand the general procedures and processes associated with the sales of new and used boats.
• Acquire full knowledge of our product lines, features, and accessories available for purchase.
• Responsible for closing the sale, educating the owner on how to use their new boat, and follow up after the sale.
• Show products in the showroom, on the lot, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrate boats on the water.
• Actively participate in boat shows and on-site and off-site promotions and events.
• Maintain CRM database.

Our Sales Environment:

• Our sales offices are open seven days a week.
• Our sales team attends boat shows, off-site events, and maintains flexible working schedules, conducts boat deliveries and in-water demos.
• We use a proven sales system.
• We maintain a large inventory of new and pre-owned boats and offer custom orders.
• We have two showrooms in Manahawkin and Marmora, NJ.

Pay:

Great Pay & Benefits with potential for High Earnings. 30K Annual Base Plus Commissions. Typical earnings 60K on the low end, 80K easily doable, 100K if you put in the work. We sell high quality high-dollar products making it easy to reach your sales targets. Work most weekends.
