Causeway Dental Care is Hiring a General Dentist Near Jackson, MS

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and make a positive impact on the oral health of our community.

Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Interpret medical imaging results such as X-rays and CT scans
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical documentation

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proven experience as a Dentist, preferably in a dental office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral diseases, and treatment options
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software for patient records management
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients in a clear and understandable manner
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
