Cattron is Hiring a Customer Service Engineer Near Krefeld, DE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Cattron's remote control systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and analyze problems, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide feedback to improve product reliability and performance based on customer interactions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams to enhance their understanding of Cattron's remote control systems.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Cattron's remote control systems and their applications in material handling and rail industries.
  • Stay updated on new product features and enhancements to effectively assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to provide relevant and up-to-date training.
  • Gather and document customer feedback regarding product performance and user experience to contribute to product improvement.
  • Support the sales team in Pre-Sales meetings or calls in order to define a solution to the customers requirement.
  • May require some occassional travel to customer sites when requiring design specific solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in technical support, preferably in a field related to remote control systems or industrial automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Both oral and written
  • Familiarity with material handling and rail industry practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to absorb product knowledge of all Cattron products
  • Ability to conduct a needs assessment to determine accurate understanding of customer needs
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Less than 2 years of related experience; preferably with electromechanical components
