Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Rehab

Who you are:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Catholic Medical Center, you play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. From asthma and bronchitis to heart attacks and trauma victims, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring their respiratory needs are met with compassion and expertise.

What you’ll do:

Assess patients' respiratory needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.

Educate patients, families, and clinicians on medications, procedures, and proper device usage.

Administer and monitor oxygen and aerosol therapies, inhaled medications, and airway maintenance modalities.

Participate in emergency response teams and perform life-saving interventions as needed.

Assist physicians with procedures such as intubation and bronchoscopy.

Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.

What you’ll bring:

Associate's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy education program.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT)

Current State of New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

ACLS and NRP certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire).
