Job DetailsThe St. Francis Hospital Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a valuable team member. Primary responsibility is the management of critically ill and complex (multi-organ) patients in an intensive care setting. This setting includes the management of patients in the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Medical ICU (MICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The APP is under the direct supervision of an in-hospital 24/7 Critical Care board certified Intensivist program. The APP performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, and provides direct patient care services in a specific ICU.
