St. Francis Heart Center

In addition to Long Island's most awarded heart program at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center® in Roslyn, NY, you can find excellence in heart and vascular care at St. Francis Heart Center locations across Long Island.

Requirements:

• PA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor’s degree required
• NP – Current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification

• PA – Will consider new grad with relevant PA electives or clinical background
• NP – Will consider new grad with Acute Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP)
• Experience with INCAR and/or vascular patients preferred 

Certification:

• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP)

• BLS/ACLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:
• American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program
• No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
• DEA registration required for those with discharge responsibilities.
