Catholic Distance University is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions. This person will play a critical role in the admissions process, supporting the Director of Admissions and ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:
Recruitment and Outreach:
● Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to develop recruitment strategies.
● Engage with prospective students, review applications, and conduct campus events.
● Support other admissions staff.
Admissions Policies and Procedures:
● Assist in creating and implementing admissions policies.
● Ensure compliance with all admissions requirements and documentation.
● Manage the admissions decision process for all academic programs.
Marketing and Communication:
● Review marketing materials and promotional content.
● Respond to student inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaboration and Meetings:
● Participate in meetings, conventions, and discussions related to admissions.
● Regularly review and update admission criteria.
Student Preparedness:
● Ensure that admitted students are well-prepared for their program.
● Facilitate a smooth transition for students before the start of classes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in admissions, student services, or related areas.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
