Title: Junior High Religion Teacher School: St. Columbkille School 6740 Broadview Rd Parma, OH 44134

Reports to: Principal Kara Rawson krawson@stcolumbkilleschool.org

Job Objective: As a Teacher at St. Columbkille school, you collaborate with our Junior High (6th/7th/8th Grades) team to deliver high-quality lessons. Our Junior High Religion teacher is assigned an 8th Grade Homeroom and delivers instruction to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade for Religion.

Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate Ohio teaching license BCI/FBI background check Virtus training (or willing to be trained) Essential Functions: Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other school personnel. Design and implement Religion lessons aligned to Diocesan curriculum and expectations. Teaches and supports academic and behavioral needs of all students. Obtains the information necessary for the planning and development of instructional plans that help meet the educational needs of each student served. Works to guide, support, differentiate instruction, and encourage students of all abilities. Administer a variety of informal and formal assessments. Participates in Professional Development. Communicates positively and frequently with parents. Participates in all scheduled meetings. Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations. Maintains accurate and complete records for all students. Maintains a safe and comfortable learning environment for all students. Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator.
